Episode 4 of Britain’s Got Talent (aired tonight at 6:45 PM on ITV/ITVX/STV) welcomed another standout magician to the stage, with Fabian Fox bringing polished illusions, storytelling, and modern flair from Austria to the Birmingham and Blackpool auditions.

The 26-year-old performer (real name Fabian Blochberger) delivered a slick routine full of clever sleight-of-hand, audience interaction, and surprise reveals that kept judges and viewers hooked.

Sandwiched among high-energy acts like James Miller’s vocals, Nancy Tilley’s drumming, The Skate Squad’s stunts, and Aditya Kodmur’s card-throwing challenge with KSI, Fabian’s set added classic magic elegance with a fresh twist.

Judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, KSI, and guest Stacey Solomon were engaged throughout, awarding him strong yes votes to advance. No Golden Buzzer this time (following earlier ones for Paul Nunnari, Rafferty Coope, and Antigravity), but his confident delivery earned praise for elevating traditional magic.

Who Is Fabian Fox?

Born in Krumbach in Lower Austria’s Bucklige Welt (son of farmers and entrepreneurs), Fabian discovered magic as a child with a simple Christmas magic set.

He practised relentlessly, wowing classmates and teachers at school shows. At 13, he began commuting to Vienna twice weekly for acting lessons while dreaming of big stages. After A-levels, he skipped university to go professional — inspired by Houdini and David Copperfield — and became Fab Fox.

Major Achievements & Past Performances

Fab Fox quickly built a reputation with corporate gigs for Hilton Hotels, Raiffeisen Bank, Coca-Cola, and Red Bull. By age 20, he was selling out magic dinner shows across Austria and performing on MSC Cruises.

In 2022 (age 22), he created his ambitious show FABULOUS — blending magic with storytelling, acrobatics, pyrotechnics, light, and sound effects like a modern musical or Las Vegas spectacular.

The 2023 tour was a smash: over 15,000 tickets sold, multiple sold-out venues, and Fab Fox became the youngest Austrian solo artist ever to sell out Vienna’s Wiener Stadthalle.

In October 2023, he pulled off Austria’s first public magic stunt — escaping a burning box suspended 30 metres high in front of historic Schönbrunn Palace, drawing massive media coverage.

In 2024, he signed with major promoter Barracuda Music (behind Nova Rock and huge stadium tours). He also took 2nd place (Runner-up) on Germany’s Das Supertalent (RTL) in 2025, impressing judges Dieter Bohlen and Bruce Darnell with his creative, story-driven magic.

Tonight’s BGT Audition & What’s Next

Fabian’s BGT debut (filmed in Birmingham) marks his biggest international TV moment yet. Early clips are already circulating on the official BGT channels, with fans calling it “elegant and surprising.”

With advancement secured, Fabian is heading toward the semi-finals. In a season full of innovation, his mix of classic technique and theatrical storytelling positions him as a strong contender — echoing past BGT magicians like Richard Jones (2016 winner, who combined ventriloquism and magic) or Darcy Oake (daring illusionist who reached the final).
