About Great Canadian Baking Show
The Great Canadian Baking Show is a cookery competition series that debuted on CBC Television on November 1, 2017. The show is a spinoff version of The Great British Bake show.
The theme of show contains Ten amateur bakers chosen from across Canada to compete in a series of themed baking challenges in each season. The show is based on The Great British Bake Off, and each episode includes three rounds: the Signature Bake, the Technical Challenge, and the Showstopper.
The judges then decide which contestant will be named “Star Baker” for the week and which will be eliminated. The season finale of The Great Canadian Baking Show features a bake-off between the remaining three contestants for the title of champion and the coveted GCBS cake stand.
