Team Tones is the secret second-chance squad built by coach Tones and I on The Voice Australia Season 15 — and as of the August 30 reveal episode, the rest of the coaching panel finally knows it exists. Here’s every artist saved so far, and how the twist works.
What Is Team Tones?
For the first time in the show’s history, a fifth coach has been operating out of sight. Tones and I has spent the Blind Auditions stationed in a hidden backstage “surveillance room,” watching every performance without Kate Miller-Heidke, Ronan Keating, Richard Marx or Melanie C knowing she was there.
Her power: if an artist fails to turn a single chair, Tones and I can pull them aside, offer them a spot on Team Tones, mentor them one-on-one, and send them back out for another shot at a Blind Audition later in the season.
On August 30, host Sonia Kruger revealed the twist to the four on-stage coaches live, along with the artists Tones and I had quietly built her team around.

| Litia Keni | Chose music over her father’s hopes she’d become a lawyer | Performance of “Listen” | Early Blind Auditions |

This table will be updated with any names confirmed from tonight’s reveal episode and remaining Blind Audition nights.
Tonight’s Reveal: What Changed
The August 30 episode (“Blind Auditions 10”) is where the format catches up to the audience. Sonia Kruger tells Melanie C, Ronan Keating, Richard Marx and Kate Miller-Heidke that the Blind Auditions aren’t actually finished — Tones and I has been building a full team behind their backs. The framing from Seven: the panel realises they may have missed a potential winner, and Team Tones’ next steps become a new chapter of the season rather than a side twist.
[Update once the episode airs: any new artists added to the roster, and the coaches’ on-camera reactions.]
What Happens to Team Tones Next?
Team Tones members get another chance at a Blind Audition, this time in front of the full panel. Exact mechanics — whether they perform fresh songs, how team spots are allocated afterward — haven’t been confirmed in detail yet. We’ll update this section once it’s clear rather than guess at the format.
How many artists are on Team Tones?
At least five confirmed so far — Red Roy, Jamie Koul, Litia Keni, Cris J and Dicko — with more likely following the August 30 reveal.
Do Team Tones artists get a normal Blind Audition?
Yes — after mentoring from Tones and I, they return to the stage for another shot at turning a chair with the main panel.
When did the other coaches find out about Team Tones?
On the August 30 episode, when host Sonia Kruger revealed the twist to Melanie C, Ronan Keating, Richard Marx and Kate Miller-Heidke on camera
