Last updated: August 7, 2026 — Blind Auditions still underway
Season 15 of The Voice Australia is underway, and this year’s biggest story isn’t just who’s turning chairs — it’s who’s secretly recruiting a team of her own. Here’s a full breakdown of where every artist has landed so far.
Quick Facts Before You Scroll
- Coaches: Richard Marx, Ronan Keating, Kate Miller-Heidke, and Melanie C, plus a fifth secret coach
- Team size: 8 per coach (down from 10 last season)
- Host: Sonia Kruger
- Premiere: Sunday, August 2, on Seven and 7plus
- Prize: $100,000 and a recording development deal
- The twist: Tones and I is secretly coaching in the background, scouting artists the main four coaches pass on
The Tones and I Twist, Explained
None of the four main coaches know she’s there. Every artist who fails to turn a chair still gets watched by Tones and I, and if she thinks the panel got it wrong, she steps in and gives that artist a second audition — this time aimed squarely at her. Red Roy and Jamie Koul are the first two to get pulled back in this way, and Litia Keni has joined them since.

Coach-By-Coach Notes
Richard Marx picked up the strongest early numbers, with three artists locked in across different genres.
Ronan Keating has been vocal about wanting a young female country artist to go all the way this season, and Phoebe Rose — his 17-year-old Sunshine Coast pick — fits that description directly.
Kate Miller-Heidke enters as the coach to beat after winning last season with Alyssa Delpopolo, though her team is filling slower than most so far.
Melanie C has kept her team small and selective, with just two names locked in through the early Blinds episodes.
Tones and I, working entirely off-camera from the other coaches’ knowledge, has quietly built a three-artist roster out of Blind Audition rejects the panel missed.
