Duffer Brothers recently revealed on Twitter that they are not going to cast more contestants for Stranger Things Season 5, but of course, there would be a few new casting vacancies but the focus is to retain the existing cast for the show.
Stranger Things Season 5 Audition
Stranger Things Season 5 began to be written by The Duffer Brothers. Early in August 2022, the writers’ room shared a photo of a blank whiteboard to signify “day one,” confirming the news. However, the show’s cameras have not yet begun to roll.
Stranger Things season 5 registration has begun & local performers will have the best chance of landing minor roles in the series which is shot in Atlanta. You will need to live close to your home as background work often doesn’t pay travel or relocation stipends.

Update: Matt Duffer recently stated that they won’t be casting many contestants in the auditions for Stranger Things season 5. However, they will cast some but they will keep the current cast.
Stranger Things casting director Carmen Cuba has always focused on finding unique actors for the show. “The original cast is all real people,” he commented in an interview. Adding more unique types was difficult, but I keep coming back to writing the program, which is helpful in many ways because it’s so powerful.

Stranger Things season 5 Expected Release Date
The first seven episodes of Stranger Things Season 4 were not released until May 2022, eight months after season 4’s filming concluded. Before the epidemic, each season usually took six to seven months to film.

I’ve been a fan of the show for a little under a year and would live to be a part of it. Watching the show really sparked my interest in acting and I would live to pursue this dream of mine. I doubt that the people even check this but here we go… Hi, I will not share my name because that’s not important, I had to put my E-mail in anyways so they can contact through that (once again, if they check). I am a white, 14 year old male that is 115 pounds and 5’2. I have dark brown hair (not that it matters cause wigs exist). I love shows and often listen to film soundtracks (How to Train Your Dragon is amazing, whoever is reading this should listen to it). I’m not as obsessed as the other people, but I know an opportunity when I see one (I do still like the show though). I’ve been in preforming arts as long as I can remember, and acting for the past 5 years. I instantly fell in love with it and have been acting everyday since to hide my depression, and for shows/fun. Although my confidence that this will get me a role is very low, cause I would need to audition for a big role (which they apparently aren’t casting for), because nobody is gonna cast a kid from D.C. as an extra, which basically screws my choices. The lateness of this reply is also a little concerning, but lets forget about that. Hopefully this post lands in the hands of someone that can actually do something and I get called for an audition where I can have an excuse to skip homework, and get on the show. But that’s just wishful thinking, right? (Foreshadowing???).

I am a huge Stranger Things fan and I absolutely love the series. Stranger Things is just great, it has everything the mysterious feel, the drama, a touch of horror and El’s supernatural powers.
