Hundred Fingers is a 10-member magic supergroup from Seoul, South Korea, formed specifically for America’s Got Talent Season 21. The name is a literal play on the math: ten magicians, ten fingers each, one hundred fingers working in perfect synchronization on stage.

Yu Hojin’s Redemption Story
This isn’t Yu Hojin’s first run at AGT. He first appeared as a solo act on Season 17, where he finished in the Bottom 6 of the Top 11 — falling short after Simon Cowell criticized his act for not going big enough. He also competed on America’s Got Talent: Fantasy League in the years since.
Rather than walk away, Yu Hojin spent years plotting a comeback built around exactly the note Cowell had given him: go bigger. For Season 21, he returned not alone, but at the center of a ten-person ensemble.
“I wanted to create a magic super group, something that had never been seen before,” Yu said. “And that’s exactly what I created.”
The group has reportedly been rehearsing 15 hours a day, six days a week, in pursuit of the win Yu Hojin missed the first time around.
The Historic Double Golden Buzzer
Hundred Fingers didn’t just impress once — they made AGT history by earning two separate Golden Buzzers in the same season, a first for the show.
Audition round: The group’s card-based illusion routine — multiplying cards, shifting colors, and making cards disappear entirely — was so well received that both Terry Crews and Howie Mandel raced for the Golden Buzzer at the same time. Mandel got there first, in dramatic fashion, sending Hundred Fingers straight to the live shows.
Quarterfinal round: Performing again in the live rounds, the group upped the spectacle with a routine that transformed masks into fans, sent a ribbon floating around each member, and closed with fire illusions. All four judges gave standing ovations, and Howie Mandel hit the Golden Buzzer a second time — sending Hundred Fingers directly into the Season 21 final, bypassing the semifinals entirely.
The achievement also means Yu Hojin becomes only the second performer in AGT history to reach the finals twice, following Daniel Emmet (who also went from a solo run to a group act, Metaphysic, in his second appearance).
