Meet the Finalists
Daisha Auda — Team Kate
At just 15 and with no formal singing lessons, Daisha has been one of the season’s biggest surprises. Her Semi Final rendition of Andra Day’s “Rise Up” showcased a maturity beyond her years, with Kate Miller-Heidke praising her willingness to take on difficult material and her natural stage presence.
She beat out Charlotte June for her spot in the final, becoming the first finalist confirmed for Grand Finale night.
Yung Milla — Team Melanie C
From the Northern Territory, Yung Milla has been a standout since his Blind Audition performance of his brother’s original song.
His Semi Final performance reimagined Men At Work’s “Land Down Under” with didgeridoo, choir, personal storytelling and an original rap verse, closing with a surprise appearance from his mother that moved both the audience and the coaching panel to tears. Melanie C called the performance “so powerful,” while Richard Marx said Yung Milla “revolutionises the genre.”
Tommy Novak — Team Richard
Tommy’s journey has been one of growing self-belief, something Richard Marx has pushed him on throughout the competition.
His Semi Final performance of Robbie Williams’ “Angels” secured his spot in the final, with Melanie C calling it “amazing” and Ronan Keating telling him he should already feel like a winner in his heart. Tommy beat fellow Team Richard artist Tika Cetinich for the finale spot.
The 60Four — Team Ronan
The only band left in the competition, South Australia’s The 60Four has built a reputation on tight harmonies and consistency.
Their Semi Final performance of Earth, Wind & Fire’s “September” combined choreography with their trademark vocal blend. Ronan Keating praised their “insane vocals,” while Richard Marx noted they’d “never hit a false note” across the entire season.
The Biggest Shock: Leyla Sabo’s Elimination
The Semi Final’s most talked-about moment wasn’t a finalist reveal — it was who didn’t make it. Leyla Sabo, the 12-year-old fan favourite who had been tipped by some (including Melanie C, coaching a rival team) as a potential winner, was eliminated when Ronan Keating chose to take The 60Four through instead.
