Imogen, a 23-year-old woman from Melbourne, working in a packaging factory, decided that she wanted to change her life. In her own words, she said, “It’s not really where I see myself in the future.”

Hoping to pursue her passion for music and make a career out of it, she decided to try her luck on the Australian Idol stage. “I think I’ve got the work ethic to back it up,” she says.

Whitney Houston’s “I Have Nothing” was her choice to showcase her determination to impress the judges and secure her place in the show.

Marcia loved her voice when she said “ I loved the way you did your own version of that song. You’ve got a lovely top end to your voice and power” She bluntly said yes and exclaimed “I think we’re looking at the next Australian Idol,”

Kyle and Amy loved her performance. Kyle said “I’ve got goosebumps too much fat but your performance got me goosebumps”. She got three yeses and made it to the waiting room.

She made the stakes higher for all the other contestants as well and rightfully deserved, won herself the GOLDEN TICKET. Yehhhhhh!
