As a child, he was always known for being sporty, competing in rugby and sprinting. However, it wasn’t until he sang in one of his school shows and surprisingly won first place, receiving an award from Darren Middleton, that he realized his love for singing was not just a fling but a real passion.
He continued to perform and eventually auditioned for Australian Idol, hoping to showcase his potential to the judges.
During his audition, he sang a rendition of “This City’s Gonna Break My Heart” alongside his inspiration, Sam Fischer, whom he has always admired and aspired to be like. There is no surprise in saying he won the golden ticket.
